We have used a quarter cup of plain flour to the eggless dough to give the eggless ladi pav a little elasticity. - Make ready 1 1/2 cup whole wheat flour

It is very very healthy and easy Pav recipe. It comes out to be very spongy, tasty. I also have made whole wheat pav buns with tangzong method (click for recipe), but this recipe is very easy to make. Even a beginner can easily make the Before all my preparations for the chats started, I made these pav buns, stored them in a large air tight box in the fridge.
Steps to make Whole wheat pav (eggless):
- Warm up water… add sugar. Dissolve completly. It should be lukewarm.
- Add yeast. Mix a bit and keep covered for 10 mins for proving.
- Meanwnhile take wwf,all purpose flour and salt in a mixing bowl. Give it a good mix and make a well in the center.
- When yeast is proved well.. becomes frothy add this mixture to the flour bowl and mix well.
- Knead the flour adding milk to make a slightly sticky dough and knead.
- Add butter and knead a bit more for around five mins.. the dough will become smooth.
- Put the dough in a greased bowl and brush the top with some oil. Keep it covered for 1.5 to 2 hours or until it doubles in the size.
- Then get the baking pan ready as second proving will take place in the pan itself.
- Punch down the air from the dough.knead it for 2 mins.
- Roll it into a log shape and divide into 9 equal size balls.
- Roll the balls and arrange then in baking pan with some distance in between as they need space to puff up.
- Cover with a cloth snd keep aside for 20 to 30 mins.
- Meanwhile preheat the oven at 180°c.
- Then brush them generously with milk and bake the pavs for around 20 mins or until top gets nice golden colour.
- Take the pan out brush them with butter to keep them soft and shiny.
- Let them cool in the pan itself… covered with a kitchen towel.
