  4. Put the bread crumbs in another separate bowl
  5. Coat the onion rings with the flour mixture
  6. One at a time, dip the onion first in the egg mixture, then the breadcrumbs. Back again into the egg mixture and back into bread crumbs. Shake to remove excess and set aside. Repeat till all onions are coated
  7. Fry in medium hot oil turning the sides till they are golden brown
  8. Serve with your favourite sauce
